Getting around
The biggest part of Spain is covered by both bus and rail networks and for journeys between major towns there's often little to choose between them in cost or speed. When travelling on shorter or less obvious routes, buses are usually quicker and will usually take you closer to the destination of your choice; some train stations lie several kilometers from the place they serve and there is no guarantee of a connecting bus. Renting a car could also be an option,

Bus
Buses are sure to meet most of your transport needs. Lots of small villages can be accessed only by bus, most of them almost always leaving from the capital of their province they find themselves in. Buses are generally reliable and comfortable enough – especially when you have to travel for long distances.

Train
RENFE, also known as the Spanish rail company, operates a complex variety of train services, divided into sections, which can be divided into three parts. Cercanías are local commuter trains in and around the major cities. Regionales are equivalent to buses in speed and cost These run between cities – Regional express and Delta trains can cover longer distances.
